As a Chair-based exercise program volunteer you will be contributing to the well-being of vulnerable people by supporting them to build on their existing physical health and social connections.

Your role is responsible for the room setup and ensuring that participants are all welcomed and feel comfortable to participate. You will be demonstrating the exercises along with the facilitator, providing an option for the level of difficulty for the participants.

In addition, you will be assisting individuals as requested to follow the facilitator’s instructions. Your friendliness and welcoming approach and excellent verbal communication skills will help to make the class enjoyable for all. You will bring (your patience and ability to work in a team, along with a professional attitude to your role as a representative of NRCH.
