Are you retired and love being around excited children who are eager to learn? Would you like to use your spare time to make a positive impact on young people’s lives?

MercyCare is seeking a dedicated volunteer to become a Child Assistant at our early learning centre in Ballajura.

The role would involve supporting children to enjoy the activities run by the Educators, reading a book, engaging in arts and crafts, encouraging outdoor play.

As a Child Assistant volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:

• Make a positive difference in the lives of children in your community.
• Spend quality time and build meaningful relationships.
• Become a valuable member of our team with ongoing support throughout your volunteer journey.

  Are you available during the working week? The day and hours can be negotiated with the Centre Manager once you commence. We ask for a commitment once a week, for a minimum of 2 hours.

MercyCare volunteers receive a Logo shirt, are celebrated during National Volunteer week and International Volunteer Day, share our Excellence Awards and gala night in September. All our volunteers are invited to celebrations throughout the year.
