A Volunteer Grants Coordinator is wanted to assist The Hub 6163 to provide valuable services to our community, securing the funding to expand our services and support more members. This volunteer role is responsible for identifying, researching, writing and securing grants for the Hub 6163.

Knowledge of grant writing, with exceptional writing, editing, and proof-reading skills is needed to: identify and analyse grant opportunities; write clear, concise & persuasive proposals; create detailed budgeted and financial narratives for applications (in collaboration with the Treasurer), This position would suit a motivated self-starter, who has the ability to work independently and a passion for building community.

Key Tasks

  • Research potential grant opportunities from local, state and federal Government, and corporate sponsors.
  • Write compelling grant proposals clearly outlining The Hub’s mission, needs, and impact of funding.
  • Collaborate with committee to gather information for grant applications (financials, project descriptions, & goals).
  • Track grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications.
  • Assist in follow-up reporting for grants providing updates on progress and outcomes
