Memory Support Unit - Activities Volunteer - Carbrook

Working with people with memory loss can be challenging, but it is also deeply rewarding knowing that you have made someone else's day a joyful experience. At our Carbrook Facility, we have a Memory Support Unit where our wonderful Activities Officer provides a meaningful program to encourage our most vulnerable Residents to remain active, involved, and engaged.

You will be needed to assist our Activities Officer in the weekday mornings or afternoons with these programs, which may include games, exercises, art, craft, music, and reminiscing. You will work alongside her and our other care staff to ensure that our Residents are enjoying the activity and are safe and comfortable at all times.
