Children's Playgroup Facilitator
Engadine Community Services works under the Targeted Early Intervention (TEI) program to deliver services for parents of children aged 0–5 years. In this role you will be helping facilitate our Tuesday morning playgroup by planning and delivering sessions. You will develop skills and experience in Early Childhood care while providing a welcoming space for new parents to play with their children.
Main responsibilities
- Facilitate and plan playgroup sessions
- Assist with set up and cleaning of toys after use
- Develop relationships with members and foster a culture of inclusion of new members
- Engage with parents and children in play activities.
- Observing and notifying ECS staff of WHS incidents and concerns.
Skills, knowledge, experience, qualification and/or training
- Interest in providing a service to young children and their families under the TEI program
- Previous work with children
- Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of the ECS team
