Dementia Day Centre Driver

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Samarinda.

Do you have excellent communication skills, empathy, and a desire to make a meaningful impact?

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with transporting clients to and from our Dementia-Specific Program at Elsie Salter House. Your support will help clients stay connected to their community in a safe and caring environment.

Availability:

• Tuesdays & Fridays
• Morning: 9:15 AM – 10:45 AM
• Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 3:45 PM

Responsibilities:

• Drive a 12-seater bus, accompanied by a staff member, to transport clients between their homes and Elsie Salter House.
• Complete a vehicle safety checklist before each trip.
• Collect and verify client passenger lists to ensure all clients are accounted for.
