Community Driver
The Role
Baptcare's Wattle Grove Aged Care Community in Lalor, are in need of volunteer drivers who enjoy taking people to new and fun places, touring around local sites of Lalor and surrounds or even into Melbourne City. If you like chatting & listening to stories from our older generation, this could be the perfect volunteer role for you.
They are a lively bunch and a lot of fun and love to get out and see new things. If you can donate some time and would enjoy taking a minibus full of our older people to new places with another staff member to help, then we want to hear from you (Baptcare vehicle).
The Requirements
You must have a valid full Australian driver's licence and good driving record to fulfill this role as our older people are precious to us and we look after them carefully.
Past bus driver/transport driver experience appreciated but not required. Full training provided.
At present we need volunteers to drive our minibus on Thursdays (scenic outings) and Fridays (outing to local shopping plaza) from 10am to approx.12.30pm. Let us know your availability.
