Reporting to the Board, the Volunteer Fundraising Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of a fundraising strategy that is engaging and effective in alignment with Endometriosis Western Australia’s visions and goals.
- Advocacy and Awareness: Break down the barriers of stigma and silence that so often surround this condition.
- Enhancing Support Networks: Ensure that individuals affected by endometriosis in Western Australia have access to the resources and community they need to manage their condition effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, with a focus on diversifying revenue sources and in alignment with EndometriosisWA’s strategy.
- Develop and implement a robust corporate sponsorship & partnership strategy.
- Ensure that all work undertaken meets legislative and regulatory compliance obligations, including the Charitable Collections Act 1946, and state and federal fundraising legislation as appropriate.
- Work in collaboration with the Volunteer Events Lead to support the execution of the fundraising strategy.
- Engage with external stakeholders to build successful partnerships.
- Analyse, track and report on fundraising results monthly in collaboration with the Treasurer.
- Compile and analyse relevant data for the monthly operations report to the board.
About you:
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience in fundraising for a not-for profit is desirable.
- High level interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Demonstrated passion for EndoWA’s mission to advocate for and support individuals affected by endometriosis.
