About the position Brighten someone’s day and make a meaningful contribution to their quality of life! Our visitor volunteer will help increase connectedness and happiness among our consumer/participants. This will lead to long lasting friendships for all involved. Time spent together in can include playing cards/board games, going for a walk, working on a hobby in a small groups for example. The position will enhance consumer/participant experience by having additional support that compliments the activities program. Volunteer assistance is aimed to enhance consumer/participant wellbeing and reduce social isolation and loneliness.
Requirements: NDIS-endorsed working with vulnerable people check is an essential requirement to volunteer at OneCare -The NDIS screening check will be apart of the onboarding process
