Tamil Speaking Female Volunteer to Visit Lady in Kilsyth (VIC)

Share your time and companionship during fortnightly visits to this isolated elderly lady in her own home in Kilsyth. Have a cuppa, a chat and maybe do some colouring!

We have been advised that an Indian Tamil speaker would be best here in terms of being understood by this elderly lady.

Visits may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in the life of this person - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to minimum fortnightly visits for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role & we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and quarterly invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.
