▪To facilitate the group of Leatherwork

▪ To facilitate a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for participants

▪ Promote an environment where all members of the community are welcome and accepted

▪ Ensure Work, Health and Safety of participants and volunteers

▪ Liaise regularly with the CDO/CDSO and VSO’s to update on group activities

▪ To encourage participants to complete Community Engagement Surveys developed by the Centre

▪ Liaise with the media sub-committee for promotion of the group as required if required.

▪ Collect name badge, Keys (if applicable), room swipe card and group folder from reception.

▪ Set up the room for the group.

▪ Ensure supply of leather and other tools, cleaners, etc., that the group may need. Inform reception to collect monies for sale of any leather to participants.

▪ Pack-up the room after the session (ensure tables are cleaned and put away in the correct place & way, chairs are stacked, tools and materials put/locked away, etc.).

▪ Report any injuries or hazards within the group.
