Checkout Operator

Support our supermarket operations by volunteering as a Checkout Operator. Volunteers will assist customers at the checkout, handle transactions, and provide excellent customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with the public, have good communication skills, and want to help create a positive shopping experience for all customers. Volunteers will receive training on how to operate the checkout system and will be responsible for ensuring smooth and accurate transactions.
Skills required:
Volunteers should be friendly, approachable, and have a positive attitude towards customer service. Basic numeracy skills and the ability to operate a checkout system are necessary. Training will be provided, so previous experience is not required. Volunteers should be able to handle cash transactions and be comfortable working with a diverse group of customers.
