Volunteer Manager
300 Blankets only exists because of the generosity of its volunteers who contribute their valuable time to enable us to run two programs; Outreach (twice weekly) and Soul Kitchen (once per week), providing essential support to people at risk of, or who are experiencing homelessness.
With over 100 active volunteers at any one time, 300 Blankets is committed to ensuring the volunteer experience is enjoyable, rewarding, and easy.
The Volunteer Manager is essential in ensuring that day-to-day operations can continue and their contributions include:
● Utilise Volaby to manage program schedules, rostering and comms.
● Recording, communicating, coordinating, and allocating individual volunteers and groups to our programs to mitigate the risk of having a shortfall of volunteers.
● Verifying prerequisite volunteer training certificates / documents.
● Communicating and liaising with the 300 Blankets Program managers and management team on a regular / as-required basis to confirm volunteer allocations.
● Work closely with the Volunteer Engagement Managers.
Commitment:
● 6 months. ● 1-3 hours per week.
