Working Bee and Community Picnic

Conservation Volunteers Australia

Logo for Conservation Volunteers Australia

When: Monday, 15th January from 10am to12:30pm

Where: Gould's Lagoon, Granton TAS 7030

Activities: spreading mulch around plants and weedings around plants. We will use shovels, wheelbarrows and small hand tools.

Please wear/bring: A long-sleeved shirt, long pants, a hat and fully enclosed shoes for this activity. Please also bring your own drinking water.

Join us for a Working Bee at Gould's Lagoon where we will be placing mulch (wood chip) around our plantings from last year. With our ongoing efforts at this site, we're building back crucial habitat and encouraging wildlife - we'd love for you to be a part of it! Mulching is a lot of fun and a good workout :) To reward your efforts, we will be providing a morning tea at our community picnic afterwards. All welcome! If you have any questions about this event, or if you'd like to register a group of volunteers, please message Janine on [email protected].
