Brisbane Kokoda Challenge - Event Setup Team - Friday 6 June 2025
Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Setup Volunteers to join our team for the upcoming Brisbane Kokoda Challenge. As an Event Setup Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in preparing and organising the Event Village, contributing to the overall success of the event. This position provides a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, gain event management experience, and contribute to a meaningful cause.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup: Assist in setting up tents, Gazebos, and other structures in the Event Village, ensuring they align with the event theme and organisational standards.
- Signage: Place directional signs, banners, and other event signage to guide participants and attendees throughout the Event Village.
- Vendor Support: Collaborate with vendors to ensure their designated spaces are set up correctly, and assist with any additional requirements they may have.
- Equipment Arrangement: Arrange tables, chairs, and other event equipment in designated areas, considering accessibility and overall event flow.
- Assist with Logistics: Support the logistics team in the coordination of deliveries, unloading of equipment, and distribution of materials to various event areas.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow volunteers, event staff, and vendors to ensure a cohesive and organised setup process.
