Position Overview: We are seeking friendly and organised volunteers to assist with Competitor Registrations and Event Pack Collections for the Brisbane Kokoda Challenge. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for participants, ensuring a smooth check-in process and providing them with event packs including Race Bibs and event T-shirts. Your warm and helpful demeanor will contribute to creating a positive experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Registration Assistance: Greet participants, verify registrations, and provide them with necessary event information.
• Event Pack Distribution: Hand out event packs, including race bibs, maps, and any other relevant materials to participants.
• Answer enquiries: Assist participants with any questions or concerns related to the event, providing clear and helpful information.
• Data Collection: Ensure accurate recording of participant details and any additional information required for event logistics.
• Coordinate with Event Staff: Work closely with Kokoda Staff and other volunteers to address any issues, changes, or special requests from participants.
• Promote a Positive Atmosphere: Contribute to creating a friendly and welcoming environment, encouraging a sense of camaraderie among participants.
