Soccer Coaches (Div 1 Women & Div1 Open/Men)

Ballarat North United Soccer Club

Ballarat North United Soccer Club is one of Ballarat's largest amateur soccer clubs. Regularly reaching the finals in every division from Under 16 and up, we are seeking coaches to take us to the TOP!

In depth - knowledge of the game is essential, and experience as a player or coach is required. Understanding of (or willingness to develop) game strategy, training methods, fitness and skill development, mentality and sportsmanship is a must.

**Responsibilities **

  • Design a game plan and style of play
  • Design and implement a conditioning program
  • Design and implement an effective individual skills development program
  • Deliver training sessions to maximise the learning of the game plan and style of play
  • Develop specific match day tactics capable of adapting to varying playing conditions, opposition strategies, momentum swings etc
  • Coordinate a well organised match day routine (pre / during / post match)
  • Liaise with the Director & Committee on any issues / incidents
  • Demonstrate a commitment to personal coaching development
  • Encourage players and families to participate fully in the club community
  • Sign the Club Coaches Agreement as negotiated & Agree to FV, BDSA and Club Coaches Code of Conduct

We are a volunteer, not for profit club, open to negotiating reimbursement and "in-kind" provisions for suitably qualified and experienced coaches. This may include kit and merchandise, travel, professional development, registration (if self or a child is a registered player), club event tickets etc.

Candidates will be contacted within 5 business days if unsuccessful, and suitable candidates will be invited to attend an informal interview with club representatives.
