About the role

This is an exciting volunteer role with a community focused team of professionals and will support in the delivery/ execution of Stars of Wollongong and Stars of Nowra 2025.

Reporting to the Community Fundraising Coordinator, the position of Events & Marketing Administration Support Volunteer will focus/work/support on our Stars events by:

  • Supporting with the social media plan and developing content in Canva with CCNSW branding
  • Helping with general event administration and data management
  • Sourcing prices from local businesses to support with fundraising streams
  • Additional tasks as discussed/required

This role is one day a week until the end of the campaign in June with the potential to stay on longer based in the Wollongong office and /or has the option to be a hybrid or a remote volunteering role.

About You

  • An interest in events, marketing, and the not-for-profit sector
  • Proactive and a willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
