Fred's Van provides a free evening meal at Elizabeth serving on a Wednesday evening and Sunday lunchtime. This service is utilised by those experiencing homelessness those at risk of being homeless.

This role will suit someone who is local to the Elizabeth facility, has the ability to work unsupervised when full support and training has been provided. Someone who has an interest in the work that we do, and has time during the day to provide a flexible approach to this unusual role

The role duties include: •attending on a Friday morning to ensure the food supplies are to hand for the teams for the Sunday service •general stock-take of kitchen items to ensure supplies are held •liaising with other volunteers who are involved in Fred's Van -time commitment is approx. 3 hours per week with availability to fill in when required

Support will be provided by the existing volunteers of the service.
