John has always enjoyed the atmosphere and experience of visiting a café. John would love to be connected with a coffee loving volunteer to accompany him on outings to local cafes to improve her confidence to get out and about again in his local Blackburn area. If you have an interest in supporting people 65+ to reconnect with their interests and community please apply!
We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. Good communications skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Having a driver’s licence/access to own vehicle is highly desired but not essential. We value diversity in lived experience, language, skills and abilities.
