This opportunity does not come around often. The Great Australian Charity Cattle Drive is leaving Longreach on May 18th, 2025, and droving 2100 head of cattle to Roma in aid of charity.

We are looking for camp hands who can help with a variety of tasks along the stock route. Collect firewood for cooks, move camp each day, moving vehicles and trailers to the next camp. Setting up the camp kitchen, collection of supplies from town, putting up the electric fence for stock, horses and cattle, generally helping out where required.

In return you will be fed 3 meals a day and become part of the whole droving team moving the stock down the stock route. Camp fire dinners, stories and poetry around the campfire, events and entertainment in the towns we pass through. A truly unique experience for the adventurous. There will be some lifting involved and also driving of various vehicles
