Riddells Creek Neighbourhood House

What is Skills Connect?

Skills Connect is a community-driven initiative designed to connect local volunteers with local not-for-profit organisations across Riddells Creek. The Skills Connect Database is a centralised system that will help you browse roles and choose from opportunities that fit your interests, skills and schedule.

Volunteers of All Skill Levels Welcome!

  • General Roles: Enthusiastic volunteers looking to help out with general tasks like basic admin, tidying spaces, gardening, and upkeep projects are always in demand!
  • Skilled Tradespeople: We have not-for-profit organisations looking for skilled volunteers who could assist with one-off maintenance like fixing taps, repairing furniture or basic electrical work.
  • Remote Workers: Those who would like to volunteer online remotely can choose from roles like administration, marketing and grant applications to support local not-for-profits.

What's in it for you?

  • Gain experience and new skills.
  • Be part of a passionate community and form new connections.
