As a volunteer at our Marion swim program, you would play a vital role in supporting athletes of all abilities as they engage in our weekly swimming program.

Your responsibilities might include assisting with organising events, providing encouragement and guidance to participants and ensuring the program’s accessibility. Volunteers are often key in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, helping to ensure that each participant feels valued and supported. Your efforts would contribute to fostering a sense of community, building confidence, and empowering individuals through sports.

Duties include but not limited too:

• Welcome and sign athletes in upon arrival
• Process weekly payments
• Support athletes, families and support workers to ensure they are registered
• Ensure the group gains regular communication
• Be a friendly, approachable person who is solution focused
• Working as part of a delivery team

Whether you’re helping with coaching, logistics, or providing hands-on support during events, your involvement would make a meaningful impact on the lives of athletes and help make the program successful.
