Join a friendly, passionate team of seamstresses who collaborate to design and craft custom historically-themed pieces. Activities include:

Creating pieces to sell in the Museum Online shop and Abbey Medieval Festival stall
Creating costumes for various fundraising events, either drafting a pattern or using commercial patterns.
Creating and maintaining a historically accurate costume collection for use at the annual Abbey Medieval Festival and other historically-themed events.
Using a variety of fabrics and materials in an authentic Medieval style

The sewing room operates on Mondays and Tuesdays only.
