This volunteer opportunity is ideal for individuals who are eager to make a positive impact in the lives of older people in our community.

The Social Club runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 10am-2pm and we are looking for volunteers for any day of the week during these hours.

Time given includes assisting the clients participate in tailored group activities such as games, arts and crafts and light exercises, offering social engagement, setting up, preparation and packing away of activities, and assisting with serving clients refreshments, morning/afternoon tea or lunch as required.

You will also assist in helping create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a place all clients feel comfortable and feel included in the activities of the day.

If you are reliable to commit to regular shifts, passionate about working with older adults, and are friendly and patient, this may be the perfect volunteer role for you.
