Skills

  • Aged 18 years or older
  • Experience as a photographer, of either events or people focused
  • Provide an up-to-date portfolio of your work
  • Creativity and the ability to take initiative to get the best shots possible on the day
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity at all times
  • Proficient in photography techniques, equipment, and photo editing software
  • Owns a digital camera and other necessary equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy and sensitivity to palliative patients and family members/friends
  • Passionate about the mission and values of Palliative Care Queensland and Ambulance Wish Queensland

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team at events or wishes

Main Tasks

  1. Storytelling
  2. Create visual narratives that showcase the experiences and stories of individuals and families receiving palliative care services.
  3. Marketing Material
  4. Contribute high-quality photographs for use in marketing materials, social media, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
  5. Collaboration
  6. Work closely with the marketing and communications team to ensure alignment with the organisation's messaging and branding.
  7. Flexible Availability

Be available for occasional evening or weekend events as needed.
