Skills
- Aged 18 years or older
- Experience as a photographer, of either events or people focused
- Provide an up-to-date portfolio of your work
- Creativity and the ability to take initiative to get the best shots possible on the day
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity at all times
- Proficient in photography techniques, equipment, and photo editing software
- Owns a digital camera and other necessary equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy and sensitivity to palliative patients and family members/friends
- Passionate about the mission and values of Palliative Care Queensland and Ambulance Wish Queensland
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team at events or wishes
Main Tasks
- Storytelling
- Create visual narratives that showcase the experiences and stories of individuals and families receiving palliative care services.
- Marketing Material
- Contribute high-quality photographs for use in marketing materials, social media, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing and communications team to ensure alignment with the organisation's messaging and branding.
- Flexible Availability
Be available for occasional evening or weekend events as needed.
