Mature female volunteer for visits to elderly lady in Manly West (QLD)

Share your time and companionship during fortnightly visits to a very active but isolated elderly lady living in her own home in Manly West.

A female volunteer who likes to reminiscence and chat about current affairs and family is requested for this role.

Visits may be spent chatting, sharing in a simple leisure activity together or a small walk around the block. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in the life of this resident - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to minimum fortnightly visits for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role and we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.
