Greek speaking volunteers needed!

We are seeking a Greek speaking woman who would like to connect with an older person who's experiencing social isolation. We’d love to hear from you!

This volunteer role offers:

This dynamic role will allow you to improve the social connections within your local community whilst getting to know new and interesting people with lots of life experience to share!

The role will involve providing social engagement to customers living in the area by visiting them at home for a coffee and chat, going on a short walk or even heading to the local shopping centre.

The successful applicant will have the availability and openness to visit and connect with a customer across the course of the week/fortnight.

We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. Good communications skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Having a driver’s license/access to own vehicle is desired but not essential. We value diversity in lived experience, language, skills and abilities.
