Setting up and packing away playgroup activities and equipment.
Assisting with interactions between families to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
Helping children develop social skills through guided play and activities.
Ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment for both children and parents.
Providing support to families in building connections and navigating the playgroup experience.

Training provided. Opportunity to make a real difference in the community.

Time required

Days: Tuesday and/or Wednesday Hours: 9am to 11am (2 hours a day)

Reimbursement

Discounted Police Checks are available for $15 and you will be reimbursed once you become an HCA volunteer.

National Police Certificate
Working with Children Check

A fun, engaging, and energetic personality with a passion for working with children and families. Supportive and empathetic attitude towards both children and parents. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and positively with families. Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team to create a supportive playgroup environment. Experience in creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. English proficiency at a native or advanced level. Compassionate, non-judgmental approach to working with families. Ability to work as part of a team.
