Knitting Support Volunteer

Do you love knitting and sharing your love of knitting with like-minded people? Are you friendly and enjoy helping older adults to have fun, socialise and connect?
We'd love to have you join us at our residential aged care home in Kelmscott to sit with a group of residents who really enjoy knitting! We are looking for volunteers to encourage conversation, connection and creativity while doing what they love - knitting.
As a Knitting Support volunteer, you will:
- Sit with residents and share the joy of knitting
- Encourage social interaction in a warm and welcoming environment
- Spend quality time and build meaningful relationships with residents.
- Enhance the quality of life for our residents by helping reduce loneliness and isolation.
- Become a valuable member of our team with ongoing support throughout your volunteer journey.
