Lifestyle Activity Coordinator at Dorset Lodge, SRS
Why choose to volunteer in Dorset Lodge SRS?
Dorset Lodge, a 45-bed Supported Residential Service (SRS) in Croydon, provides a safe and supportive home for individuals facing mental health challenges, social disadvantage, and the impacts of complex family or life circumstances, including past experiences of family violence. Many of our residents are in their 60s-70s, and they deeply appreciate engaging activities and meaningful conversations. Each resident at Dorset Lodge is unique. While some may carry complex challenges or long-term trauma, they also bring rich life experiences and individual stories. By taking the time to connect with them—whether through a simple chat, a shared activity, or a moment of laughter—you brighten their day in ways that truly matter. In return, this experience offers you enormous personal reward, deepening your understanding of resilience, compassion, and the diverse journeys that shape each person’s life.
