As a Foodbank volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting our mission to end hunger in the South Australia and the Northern Territory.

The Foodbank SA & NT logistics and warehouse teams are a vital part of our organisation as they collect, transport and deliver food supplies and donations across metropolitan Adelaide and regional locations across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

As a Volunteer Truck Driver, you are out on the roads representing Foodbank SA & NT. Duties include collecting donated fresh food and groceries and delivering to our Food Hubs, welfare agencies and schools.

Driver shifts vary in length and run between Monday to Friday from 7:00am up to 6 hours.

Please note: *As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance).. *Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
