As a Foodbank volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting our mission to end hunger in the South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Our Mobile Food Hubs is a unique supermarket on wheels - it is designed to get food to families living in the highest areas of demand.

Mobile Food Hub Drivers are responsible for driving the Mobile Food Hub van to locations across Adelaide. They also support with stocking the van, setting up upon arrival at the location, welcoming and assisting vulnerable clients, processing their shop and packing up.

An HR driver's licence is required.

We are seeking volunteers who have people skills and enjoy working as part of a small and friendly team. You will engage with customer so an appreciation for client confidentiality and empathy for diverse clientele is highly regarded.

Light and heavy lifting may apply.

Monday to Friday from 7.30am - volunteers can volunteer once or multiple times per week or fortnight depending on their availability

Please note: * As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance). * Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
