Friend to the Elderly - *Wayne* likes playing uno and going for a walk

Wayne is looking for someone who would be happy to visit with him once a fortnight to chat and play Uno. He also likes going for a walk and talking about his family.

mecwacare is excited to be participating in The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) which supports the elderly who are receiving aged care services in an aged care home or through a home care package.

This program aims to benefit the volunteer as much as the recipient and often results in deep friendships developing from regular visits.
