Gardener - Community Rehabilitation Centre (West Gippsland Hospital)

The West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) is a sub-regional provider of health services located in the Shire of Baw Baw.
Tasks may include: • Assisting in maintaining the health and tidiness of the outdoor mobility garden in consultation with Allied Health staff including the plant health, paths and other walking surfaces, minimising trip hazards. This may include:
- Some overhead activities ie. pruning using hand tools
- Bending tasks – ie. weeding, raking, watering, sweeping. • Provide support and assistance to clients / consumers as directed and in consultation with Allied Health staff to allow them to participate safely in 1:1 or group gardening activities. • Planting of raised garden beds with seasonal plants / vegetables in consultation with Allied Health staff. • Confidentiality - Ensure that any personal, private or sensitive information obtained regarding a staff member or client/ consumer remains confidential.
