About the Role
As a Volunteer for the Assisted Shopping Support, you will:
- Use your own vehicle to transport clients to and from supermarkets and shopping centres.
- Assist with carrying shopping bags (if required).
- Provide friendly conversation and companionship along the way.
- Help clients maintain their choice and independence while staying engaged in the community.

What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, reliable, and patient individual with good communication skills.
- A current and valid driver's license.
- A registered, roadworthy, and well-maintained vehicle.
- A passion for helping others and a desire make a meaningful difference to your local community.
- Willingness to complete safety and registration checks.

Vehicle Requirements
To ensure safety and comfort for our clients, your vehicle must meet basic requirements, including:
- Up-to-date registration and vehicle insurance.
- Transport vehicle to be a suitable height for people with mobility needs.
- Regular servicing and maintenance.
- Clean and well-kept condition.
- Successfully meet the requirements of our vehicle safety assessment form.
