Key Responsibilities
- Assist with formatting and layout of the Riddell Roundup using user-friendly digital tools.
- Help collate local stories, event listings, and community notices.
- Proofread articles and provide basic editing for clarity and consistency.
- Liaise with contributors and community groups to gather content and images.
- Assist with online publishing and distribution via email and social media.
- Provide occasional support for special features or themed editions.
Desirable Skills
- Good written communication and attention to detail.
- Confidence using basic computer programs (Word, Canva, Google Docs).
- Interest in community life, storytelling, and local news.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to a medium-term volunteering role (approx. 4 - 6 hours per month).
