Volunteer Receptionist - Community Services

Position Title: Volunteer Receptionist Program/Service: Client Services Location: Tweed Heads Reports To: Client Service Manager
Purpose of the Role The Volunteer Receptionist supports the daily operations of Momentum Collective’s Head Office by assisting the Receptionist and team with general reception and administrative duties. The role offers an opportunity to gain experience in a professional office environment, with potential to move into casual paid work covering leave or sick days.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service
Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Assist with creating a welcoming environment at reception
Phones & Front Desk
Support the handling and directing of incoming calls
Help manage the reception space and meeting room bookings
Administration
Assist with basic administrative tasks such as:
Sorting mail
Office supplies maintenance
Booking taxis or couriers
Coordinating internal deliveries (e.g. uniforms or IDs)
Team Support
Work under the guidance of the Receptionist and Executive Assistant
Assist other staff with ad hoc administrative tasks
Skills & Attributes Friendly and professional communication
Willingness to learn and follow instruction
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Respectful of privacy and confidentiality
Requirements Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Criminal Record Check
