In this part time Business Manager role, you will lead our amazing Retail team with the daily operations at our Mount Gambier Op Shop. At ADRA, we view our stores as a Community Space having positive Social Impact. And you will be on the front line, contributing to our commitment to support projects that positively impact those who need us the most within Australia, across the Pacific and around the world.
You will make a difference by:
o Leading the daily and weekly store operations, including visual merchandising, donation sorting, team rostering, cash handling, opening & closing of the store.
o Leadership of the volunteer team, fostering a warm team environment.
o Delivering a memorable customer service and donor experience.
o Develop, support and deliver local area marketing campaigns and project activities to positively impact those within your local community.
o Assist with the recruitment, on-boarding and training of new volunteer team members.

o Excellent people skills, experience working and leading teams.
o An eye for detail, experience overseeing Retail or similar operations.
o Personable and approachable, experience working in customer service.
o Strong interpersonal skills, build and maintain positive relationships.
o Organised and efficient, strong time management abilities.
o The ability to perform routine manual labour tasks including stock displays and donation bags.
o Passion for sustainability, working with second-hand goods and a desire to make a real difference with community services.
