Lifestyle Markets Australia Inc. is seeking a creative and organised volunteer Social Media / Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
If you love combining creativity with coordination, this role offers the perfect opportunity to support engaging social media campaigns while helping keep our visual communications organised and on track — all from the comfort of your home.
Your mission? Be the organised heart behind our social media and marketing activity.
About Us
Lifestyle Markets Australia Inc. is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation delivering vibrant, multicultural markets, festivals, and community events across Victoria.
We celebrate diversity and creativity by bringing together local makers, small businesses, food vendors, and communities in inclusive, welcoming spaces.
Through our events, we also support the broader charitable mission of Kinds of Happiness, which focuses on improving wellbeing and opportunities for disadvantaged young people.
About the Team
The Social Media & Graphic Design Team develops and delivers LMA's visual communications and promotional content — from event posters and digital graphics to social media campaigns that attract vendors and visitors to our markets and festivals.
As our Social Media & Marketing Coordinator, you'll support the team in delivering engaging content and keeping campaigns on track. This is a coordination-focused role with a creative edge: you'll organise meetings, manage the team inbox, maintain the content calendar, and help with poster and promotional material creation.
About You
You're someone who enjoys both the creative and the organisational sides of marketing. You communicate clearly, stay on top of the details, and feel comfortable working independently in a remote setting. You don't need to have done this before — we care more about your attitude and enthusiasm than your CV.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating the content calendar and keeping the team organised and on schedule
- Managing the team inbox and supporting internal communications
- Assisting with the creation of event posters and promotional materials
- Supporting social media campaign delivery across our platforms
- Helping ensure alignment across teams and consistent messaging
What You'll Gain
- Real-world experience in social media coordination and marketing for a registered charity
- A portfolio of community-facing creative and campaign work
- A professional reference upon completion of your volunteer term
- A welcoming, collaborative team environment
- The knowledge that your work directly supports young people in regional and rural Victoria through the Kinds of Happiness program
