Group Activity Assistant Evanston Park

We are seeking a Group Activity Assistant for our residents to enjoy different leisure activities, engage socially and feel part of the home. This supports us to meet the special needs of Residents. The aim of a Group activity program is to: ~ foster friendships and maintain social etiquette skills ~ pursue lifelong interests with likeminded people ~ build a sense of community within the residential environment ~ provide cognitive stimulation and memory recall skills ~ provide opportunity for expression of individual identity ~ share personal knowledge and experiences Group Activity Assistants need: Good Communication skills Ability to maintain confidential information Ability to work as part of a team and without constant direct supervision An interest, skills and experience in arts and crafts.
