A Volunteer will be required to have these attributes; Shift available to work from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, To undertake in-house training on the TRIPS data base and other training, as required. To have a patient and professional approach when dealing with clients, particularly those who may have hearing or language difficulties. Good interpersonal skills and clear communication skills. Enjoy working with the public and helping people. Dependable and punctual. Well-developed computer, time management and organisational skills. Experience in the Microsoft suite of programs with demonstrated proficiency in Word and Excel. Demonstrated understanding of and ability to carry out moderate level clerical and administration duties. To maintain confidentiality in all dealings associated with Volunteering Gold Coast Inc. and its members using the services. Able to work in a team and/or alone with minimal supervision and undertake relieving as required after initial training has been completed.
