We’re looking for a friendly, proactive volunteer to connect community members with local volunteering opportunities. If you enjoy chatting with people, are a great listener, and feel confident using a computer, this could be the perfect fit for you.

What you’ll do

Welcome new volunteers and match them with roles that suit their skills and passions
Follow up with phone calls and emails to support their journey
Help manage enquiries and referrals through our online system

Commitment

Regular - more than 6 months

Training

All training provided plus option of attendance to State Volunteer Conference.

Time required

10am - 3pm, but we can be flexible with these hours.

Reimbursement

Any out of pocket expenses. Tea and coffee supplied. Lunch supplied for Team Meetings 4 times/year

National Police Certificate

Must enjoy customer service and have a happy and helpful disposition. • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills • A minimum of 6 months commitment. • Computer literate and happy to follow processes • Ability to work independently • Punctual and reliable • Applicants may be requested to assist with other Swan Volunteer Resource Centre locations. We’re looking for someone with a background in the nonprofit sector, volunteering, or the recruitment industry. However, if you’re eager to learn, we’ll provide on-the-job training, support, and all the resources you need to succeed in this role with confidence. Knowledge of of the community sector would be a great advantage but not essential. As a valued member of our team, you’ll gather for quarterly meetings and training sessions, where your ideas and insights will help shape our community initiatives.
