Who is Lifeline WA looking for? We are looking for mature, dedicated and highly motivated people to commit to a weekly shift during our peak times of: Friday evenings 6pm-10pm Saturdays (open between 10am-6pm) for a 4 hour shift Sundays (open between 8am-4pm) for a 4 hour shift In addition to regular shifts, Crisis Supporters are requested to contribute to public holiday coverage. As we are open 365 days of the year.
Due to the involved and comprehensive nature of this nationally recognised training, you must be available at the WA centre for a minimum of 24 months, including attendance at regular group and individual supervision sessions and professional development. This is a substantial commitment, and the first step for candidates is to attend an information session where we detail the training and ongoing requirements.
