Volunteer Guide and Greeter - National Capital Exhibition
Seeking passionate long-term Volunteer Guides & Greeters:
Volunteering at the National Capital Authority (NCA) provides a unique opportunity to engage with the public and contribute to the appreciation of our National Capital.
We offer three types of volunteering opportunities:
Our volunteers act as the public face of the National Capital and they are committed to sharing the story of Australia's Capital and many of its attractions with the diverse range of visitors we receive.
*Greeter Only: Based at either Blundells cottage on Saturday & Sundays or at the National Capital Exhibition throughout the week. You are the warm welcome to visitors of these attractions and introduce them to the significance of these historical sites by providing relevant information and answering questions. *Guide & Greeter: typically based at the National Capital Exhibition, this role involves both greeting visitors and leading walking tours. We will provided training to assist you in presentations at the National Capital Exhibition and tour's at your selected tour locations. *Walking Guide Only: After selecting the attractions you would like to visitors through, you will receive training and access to a range of helpful resources to enhance your knowledge of the site.
