Must be able to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
Assist in preparation, set up for and participation in various activities.
When required, collect residents to attend functions.
Check equipment and supply needs, and prepare for the activities.
Participate/assist with lifestyle activities – e.g. walking groups, art, craft, bingo, board games, group social functions, entertainment/musical performances and movies.
Carry out duties as delegated and be able to work alongside others.
Volunteers must be punctual and reliable, have a friendly positive attitude towards other team members and must enjoy working with people who are elderly, frail and cognitively impaired.
Be prepared to attend any mandatory training sessions as required.
Must have or willing to apply for a National Police Check (at no cost).
Abide by all policies and procedures and OH&S protocol.
Have current seasonal influenza vaccination.
