Logo for HammondCare Australia

Volunteer with passion and purpose with HammondCare, an independent Christian charity specialising in dementia care.

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest with people in their own homes. You may want to spend some time in the garden, play cards, listen to music or do some arts and craft activities. Or perhaps go to a local coffee shop.

HammondCare At Home help people across the Central West area, including Bathurst, Lithgow, Oberon, Cowra and Blayney, so we’ll work to match you with someone with similar interests in your local community. Volunteer to spend one hour per week or fortnight with someone who may be lonely or socially isolated.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a national police check which HammondCare will organise and pay for. You'll need to be over the age of 18 years, have your own car and be comfortable in spending time in their home.
