Southern Adelaide Palliative Care Service (SAPS) needs you! We are looking for volunteers to support clients who are living at home with a life-limiting illness. Our service covers areas in the Southern suburbs of Adelaide postcodes 5037 to 5174.
ECH - Southern Region
Would you like to become a volunteer with ECH Day Programs? These programs are designed to cater for people who may be experiencing dementia or memory loss. ECH has Day Programs are held at Smithfield, Henley Beach, Happy Valley and Walkerville each offering a range of activities such as gardening, arts and craft, billiards, cooking, music, dancing & gentle exercise programs.
ECH - Southern Region
ECH is looking for some 2 legged (human) volunteers to assist in their Day Programs together with their good natured & well trained pets to visit clients. ECH Day Programs are designed to cater for people who may be experiencing dementia or memory loss to engage in a range of social activities. Dogs are popular but other pets are welcome too if they are healthy, confident with strangers, never timid & well mannered.
Fleurieu Girl Guides - Happy Valley, Hackham, McLaren Vale & Willunga
Fleurieu Girl Guides are looking for women aged 18+ years to join a local Unit. As a Local Unit Volunteer, you will be working with experienced Leaders to give girls aged from 5 to 14 years confidence & skills through fun activities. If you are looking for a volunteer role that provides the opportunity to experience a sense of belonging & spark extraordinary moments for girls in the community, build connection, friendship & a chance to grow your network, read on & then express your interest!

An Assistant Volunteer Coordinator helps the Volunteer Coordinator where needed and steps in when the they are ill, unavailable or on holidays.

An Assistant Kitchen Coordinator assists the Kitchen Coordinator where required and steps in when the they are ill, unavailable or on holidays.
Fleurieu Environment Centre
Hooded Plovers are small coastal shorebirds. Listed as vulnerable nationally, there are less than 800 of these birds in South Australia, with only 22 breeding pairs found on the Fleurieu Peninsula. There are multiple ways that you can assist to protect these birds. Fleurieu Hoodie Helpers are needed to monitor a given pair of birds on a particular beach and report sightings of bird behaviour.
