Women volunteers assist ARA staff by providing childcare assistance to mothers attending facilitated Cultural Support groups and by providing friendship and support around raising children and family life. Three groups are held on a weekly basis at different Salisbury locations during school terms: one for Afghani women on Thursday mornings, one for Burmese Chin women on Wednesday lunch-times, and one for Syrian Women on Tuesday mornings

A Home visitor will provide companionship for older people on a weekly or fortnightly basis. The In home scheme is for people who are socially isolated over the age of 50 and from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
