We are looking for Emergency Relief volunteers to help provide meaningful, flexible and responsive care and support to individuals and families in need.
The Emergency Relief Volunteer will be responsible for interviewing clients who come in seeking assistance. The volunteer may at times be required to refer the client on to other services for further support. Volunteers must be proficient in using a computer for the input of data. Emergency Relief volunteers will also be required to manage the Reception desk to greet customers and input client information into a database for reporting requirements.

Our elders who live with Dementia benefit greatly with some social support and interactive engagement form others with time to give and share. This role requires you to be empathetic, patient, caring and have the ability to communicate through prompting and person centered focus. Communication comes in various forms so we need you to be comfortable to be flexible communication styles with the elders.
